Saltwater Mid-Atlantic Athletics is a non-profit, all-volunteer boys’ club lacrosse program that offers tournament play, practices, instructional clinics, and year-round training. Serving the Delmarva communities, we are committed to providing a high-quality lacrosse experience at a reasonable participation fee.

Our coaches and administrators are dedicated to supporting the players and their families while giving back to the game of lacrosse. We emphasize both team and individual skill development, helping athletes deepen their understanding of the sport. Our mission is to instill core values of teamwork, accountability, commitment, and self-motivation in every player, preparing them not only for success on the field but also for life beyond the game.

At SWMA, we focus on developing team and individual skills, improving players’ understanding of the game, and instilling teamwork, accountability, commitment, and self-motivation.

SWMA uses a three-stage player development model that provides a structure for skill development and competitive play at each age level.

Stage 1 Primary (5th grade & under)  Develop multi-sport youth athletes in a competitive structure by instilling commitmnet to being part of a team.

Stage 2 Junior (6-8th grade)  Develop multi-sport middle school athletes by preparing them for competitive high school level play and being part of a committed team environment.

Stage 3 Senior (9-11th grade)  Develop and provide high school players who want to play lacrosse at the collegiate level with the opportunity to gain appropriate visibility in the college recruiting process. Provide players and their parents with a resource to help evaluate post-high school lacrosse opportunities.
